About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle inquiries received by phone, email, chat, or fax from internal and external customers.
- Provide customers with product information and resolve their concerns.
- Support, develop, and lead new initiatives using functional expertise and knowledge of the company.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, respond to inquiries, and promote Allstate home and auto insurance products.
- Analyze customers’ current and future needs and recommend suitable products.
- Provide personalized service as a trusted insurance advisor.
- Promote product features and benefits during periodic customer portfolio reviews.
- Manage policy renewals and requests to modify insurance contracts.
- Respond to inquiries received online by email.
- Upsell and cross-sell auto and home insurance products in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
- Promote customer retention during policy renewals and updates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold an Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) license or be willing to obtain one in your province of residence.
- Have 1 to 3 years of customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability to work some evenings, as well as Saturdays and Sundays, on a rotating schedule.
- Assets: call center experience.
- Assets: insurance industry experience.
- Assets: experience with upselling and cross-selling.
- This position is open to residents of Quebec and Ontario outside the Greater Toronto Area, subject to the position’s location eligibility criteria.
