About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate and confirm facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents
- Determine coverage, liability, damages, and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits
- Handle all aspects of advanced auto claims, including coverage, liability, and damages, with discretion and independence
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims when applicable
- Identify vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling
- Apply increased experience at the Adjuster II level or through specialty rotations such as Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, or Extended Handler
- Manage complex claims for Georgia and/or Florida and contribute to strong claim outcomes and team performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Seasoned adjuster experience handling advanced automobile accident claims
- Advanced understanding of insurance policies, industry practices, and organizational relationships
- Experience investigating coverage, liability, and damages for advanced auto claims
- Experience reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating basic to moderate injury claims, if handled
- Knowledge of vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- Customer service skills
- Ability to determine subrogation or fraud potential
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
