About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate and confirm facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents
- Determine coverage, liability, damages, and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits
- Handle all aspects of advanced auto claims, including coverage, liability, and damages
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims when handled
- Identify vehicle body parts and other potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle it
- Support the state of Florida and contribute to overall team performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience handling advanced automobile accident claims
- Advanced understanding of insurance policies, industry practices, and organizational relationships
- Ability to investigate coverage, liability, and damages with discretion and independence
- Ability to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
- Knowledge of vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- Customer service skills
- Ability to determine subrogation or fraud potential
- Increased experience at the Adjuster II level or experience through a specialty-position rotation
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
