Key responsibilities & impact

Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement
Assess coverage, liability, and damages
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process
Communicate with customers and attorneys via voice calls, email, and text messages
Negotiate fair injury settlements with all involved parties
Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage
Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat while keeping them updated on claim progress
Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants
Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms
Execute policies according to policy agreements
Maintain clear, timely, and accurate claim documentation in the claims system
Handle claims primarily in Nevada and Washington

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of Casualty Represented or Litigation third-party claim handling experience required
Nevada and/or Washington Casualty Claim handling experience preferred
Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone
Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently
Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation
Candidates in the Mountain and Pacific time zones preferred; candidates in the Central time zone will be considered
Position is not available for California, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, or Puerto Rico residents
Must submit to a background investigation
May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable
Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating
Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
