About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate automobile accidents
- Gather police reports, witness statements, and other key information
- Verify coverage and help determine liability
- Guide customers through challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Apply a basic understanding of company insurance policies, the industry, and organizational relationships
- Investigate auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages with limited discretion
- Learn to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic injury claims when handled
- Identify vehicle body parts and understand potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle it
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must be based in Texas, United States, as indicated by the posting location “USA - TX (Remote)”
- Candidates must be in the Central or Eastern Time Zone
- Curious, detail-oriented, and organized
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to handle difficult conversations
- Interest in problem-solving and investigative work
- Knowledge or ability to develop a basic understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships
- Applicants must possess authorization to work in the United States
- Employer does not sponsor individuals for work visas
- Individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment
- Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team
- Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
