About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate and confirm facts of loss for automobile accidents
- Determine coverage, liability, and damages
- Adjust and negotiate claims within authority
- Handle basic investigations regarding coverage, liability, and damages
- Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills
- Apply a basic understanding of company systems and technology
- Partner to determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling
- Develop a basic understanding of company insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships
- Recognize and identify vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- No supervisory duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in PST/MST/CST time zones
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific Time Zone hours
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
- Employer does not sponsor individuals for work visas
- Must terminate all existing insurance appointments before onboarding if currently holding an active insurance license
- Must not hold outside insurance appointments during employment
- Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
- Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
- Appropriate desk and seating for the home workspace
