About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet customers at their homes, repair shops, or tow yards
- Write estimates and guide customers through repair or total loss processes
- Conduct in-person visits, virtual inspections, and written communication
- Evaluate vehicle damage and collaborate with body shops and service providers
- Investigate casualty and applicable line-of-business claims
- Review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat
- Keep customers updated on claim progress and accommodate communication preferences
- Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants
- Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms
- Maintain accurate and timely claims records in the claims system
- Attend up to two weeks of in-person training at the Dallas, TX office if required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 18+ months’ experience in auto collision estimating using CCC One
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates
- Comfortable utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Must be located in Amarillo, TX
- All required adjuster licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- Must maintain all licensing required for the role, including continuing education and state-affiliated renewal requirements
- Background investigation required
- Not available for residents of Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii
- Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
- Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
