About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage property claims from initial investigation and inspection through resolution
Conduct field inspections and evaluate property damages
Review applicable coverage and policy content
Develop, create, or audit repair and damage estimates
Review supplements and handle contents losses
Work with customers and involved parties to reach timely and accurate claim outcomes
Manage an assigned territory and workload
Document claim activity and communicate throughout the claims process
Evaluate settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Negotiate settlements and make settlement payments
Build relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines
This job does not have supervisory duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Based within 20 miles of Phoenix or Tucson, AZ
Property claims experience
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Proficiency in Xactimate
Active adjuster license, or ability to obtain one
Experience handling claims both in the field and virtually is preferred
Must terminate all existing insurance license appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment
Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team
Authorization to work in the United States
Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
Appropriate desk and seating
Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
