About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and design digital products using modern tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems
Design, implement, test, and document software using scientific and technological methods
Own and manage applications in production
Ensure digital product success through achievement of KPIs
Participate in inception and iteration planning meetings, providing technical input to backlogs in partnership with the product manager
Participate in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
Participate in retrospectives and encourage empathetic feedback
Collaborate on high-level and low-level component and system designs
Collaborate on performance improvements and technical review meetings
Practice daily paired programming and test-driven development
Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
Support software products in user environments
Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to team knowledge growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 to 10 years of experience
B.E./B.Tech
Experience developing REST APIs using Java Spring Boot
Knowledge of Swagger, REST Docs, OpenAPI specification, API versioning, service discovery/registration, testing, and API management
Experience with API gateways and React
Experience architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large-scale distributed cloud systems/applications
Experience with microservices architectures
Knowledge of web and API security, including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML
Backend development and implementation experience
Experience with databases, SQL, caching, and Kafka messaging
Knowledge of Git and distributed version control systems
Experience with artifact management, build and packaging systems, Maven, Gradle, npm, and Artifactory
Experience with Jenkins or similar continuous integration tools
Experience working in an Agile or paired programming/engineering environment
Experience with test-driven development and writing unit tests for front-to-back coverage
Experience solving problems and analyzing performance bottlenecks
Python experience is a plus
