About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly within an Allstate Technology Solutions team on high-impact projects
- Help solve real business problems using modern technologies
- Contribute to high-quality, scalable applications and systems for Allstate and its customers
- Work across the full technology stack, including programming languages, cloud platforms, APIs, databases, DevOps tools, and front-end and back-end frameworks
- Help define product requirements and prioritise features
- Collaborate with teams to meet goals through outcome-based iterative delivery
- Apply design thinking principles to create user-centric digital products and solve complex problems
- Foster a positive team culture and influence stakeholders
- Communicate with clarity
- Track and measure key performance indicators and iterate for improvement
- Complete onboarding, business awareness, professional skills development, AI fundamentals, and practical AI learning
- Present a growth journey after six months of learning and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate
- Allstate is not providing sponsorship for this program
- Completing by September 2027 or recently completed within the last 2 years a practical, engineering-focused IT degree or related discipline
- Minimum degree classification of 2:1 or commendation
- Less than one year of relevant professional experience gained after graduation
- Strong programming and system design fundamentals
- Applicants must provide average module marks to date or awarded classification if already graduated
- Curiosity, collaboration, and passion for building meaningful, high-quality products
- Shortlisted candidates must attend an in-person assessment centre in early November 2026
