About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer service and billing calls and first notice of loss (FNOL) calls from customers
- Respond to customer inquiries about their policies
- Provide personalized insurance service as a Trusted Advisor
- Promote Allstate features and benefits during portfolio reviews
- Manage policy renewals and policy changes
- Reply to online requests
- Promote client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship building
- Upsell and cross-sell Auto and Property products according to underwriting guidelines
- Support and guide customers during FNOL claim calls
- Document loss details in the claim system
- Perform specified claim tasks and transfer or assign claims to a Claim Advisor
- Meet and exceed key performance and attendance metrics
- Report to the Manager, Inside Service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Must have OTL or General level 1 Insurance License or be willing to obtain for the province you are located in
- Must have 1 - 3 years customer service experience
- Must speak, read and write English
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications
- This is a work from home position; you must have a space conducive to working from home
- Ability to work evenings is required
- Available to work all hours of operation, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm EST
- Standard work week of 37.5 hours
- Call center and insurance experience is preferred
