Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Residency within New York or New Jersey
  • 4+ years of experience using estimating software such as Xactimate for complex contents estimating
  • Previous experience handling property insurance claims
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to provide an effortless customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently from home
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to problems and setbacks
  • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Active adjuster and/or appraiser license if required by the office/area, or ability to secure applicable license(s) within 60 days of hire
  • Applicable active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License
  • Successful completion of a background investigation
  • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating
  • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
  • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
