About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle customer inquiries via calls, emails, and chats, including escalations
- Provide policy servicing, billing assistance, coverage information, and policy changes
- Input and track information in appropriate databases
- Collaborate with other areas to identify, analyze, and improve processes
- Engage, inspire, educate, and mentor new hires and incumbents
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Liaise with other departments when follow-up is required to meet customer needs
- Initiate, execute, communicate, and document projects as needed
- Resolve complex questions and concerns and refer other inquiries to appropriate areas
- Attend paid training Monday through Friday during business hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST
- Work Monday through Friday after training, scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines insurance license required
- Passion for helping customers and delivering exceptional service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate complex customer questions and identify solutions
- Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting customer interactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning
- Background investigation required
- Must have a dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
- Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
