About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Property Field Advisors
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Drive performance across customer experience, quality, productivity, cycle time, expense management, and indemnity control metrics
  • Provide technical leadership on property claims handling, coverage interpretation, investigations, reserving practices, estimating, and large loss management
  • Champion timely, fair, and efficient claim resolution, including support for escalated customer concerns
  • Support operational readiness and leadership during catastrophe events, including resource planning and deployment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and vendor partners on strategic initiatives, process improvements, and business objectives
  • Analyze performance trends and implement action plans to improve operational effectiveness and team results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of progressive Property Claims experience
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, coaching, mentoring, or technical leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of property claims, including coverage interpretation, investigation, estimating, and claim resolution
  • Proven ability to coach and develop employees while driving individual and team performance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Ontario
  • Previous Property Field Claims experience
  • CIP designation or actively pursuing completion
  • Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter
  • Experience leading teams through catastrophe events
  • Xactimate experience
  • FCIP designation
