About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage projects and the day-to-day functions of direct reports
- Respond to escalated customer issues
- Oversee adjudication of all life claims
- Plan, implement, and manage Claim employees' work and assign job responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and interpret and apply applicable laws
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for financial and procedural accuracy
- Review production and quality of work and ensure cross-training to maximize productivity
- Conduct progress development reviews, counsel employees, evaluate employee potential, and provide recommendations to management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above education requirements
- Background investigation required
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
- Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating when working from home
- Valid Photo Identification available at the start of the interview (not required for internal candidates)
- Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
