About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage in solution design for business and technical problems at the platform level
Drive the horizontal platform consultant community and contribute to enterprise consistency
Mentor the platform consultant community and support technical strategy across a large organization
Align product design to local and enterprise standards and patterns
Interact with senior technology, architecture, and business leaders to align strategic direction with tactical needs
Define and execute data strategy and analytics needs for Insurance Pricing and Underwriting
Manage platform priorities, value, and time to achieve measurable business outcomes
Conduct stakeholder and risk analysis and solve problems for high-priority initiatives
Influence discovery and framing sessions across the ecosystem
Contribute to the overall technical architecture landscape
Liaise between technical and business leaders and align business and technology roadmaps
Influence engineering backlogs and practices
Apply industry standards and engage with emerging technologies
Influence technical decisions collaboratively as a thought leader

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Very strong Insurance Domain & technical expertise
Subject matter expertise over products and platform
Ability to define and execute data strategy and analytics needs for Insurance Pricing & UW
Expertise in platform architecture, technical architecture, technical strategy, product design, solutions design, and strategic direction
Background investigation required
Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
