About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement applications following 12-factor principles
- Build products and iterative enhancements
- Own the full stack of software products, including web or mobile frontends and backend services
- Provide input into product architecture and design
- Collaborate with the team to solve problems appropriately
- Practice daily paired programming and test-driven development
- Participate in executing product strategy with customer needs in mind
- Serve as an expert in a specific business domain
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability on at least one technology stack
- Coach junior team members on technologies and XP practices
- Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
- Support software products in user environments
- Lead and participate in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
- Participate in retrospectives and derive actionable improvements
- Participate in iteration planning meetings and align on backlog stories and chores
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the stated education requirements
- Software development knowledge
- Full-stack development experience across frontend and backend services
- Knowledge of 12-factor principles
- Experience with test-driven development and continuous integration
- Experience establishing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
- Experience with software products in user environments
- Experience with XP practices
