About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the day-to-day project lifecycle for State Lottery RFPs and government proposals
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and external partners
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and market trend research
- Develop win strategies, business cases, and financial models for new business pursuits
- Draft, review, and refine proposal components to align with commercial strategy and compliance requirements
- Maintain a repository of proposal assets, market intelligence, and competitor profiles
- Build, maintain, and stress-test financial models for revenue forecasting, contract pricing, ROI projections, market expansions, and product launches
- Prepare business cases and presentations with cost-benefit analyses, ROI projections, and strategic considerations
- Provide localized financial analysis, data aggregation, and regional modeling support for M&A and partnership evaluations
- Build, maintain, and automate Tableau, Power BI, or similar dashboards to monitor KPIs and OKRs
- Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, flag risks, and make data-backed recommendations
- Design charts, graphs, and materials communicating business performance and opportunities to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
- Aggregate, clean, and analyze consumer research, retail sales databases, and external market trends
- Support player segmentation, portfolio strategy, and product innovation through data mining and market research
- Track macroeconomic indicators and regulatory developments in the gaming and lottery space
- Summarize findings into actionable executive briefs
- Report to the Director of Commercial Strategy and support senior leadership, the Shareholder, and the Board of Directors
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, management consulting, strategic finance, corporate strategy, market intelligence, or a related analytical field
- Experience building financial models, business cases, forecasts, pricing analyses, ROI assessments, and/or scenario models
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and firm deadlines
- Experience supporting RFPs, competitive bids, government tenders, proposal development, or other large-scale business development initiatives strongly preferred
- Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and/or consumer analysis and translating findings into actionable business recommendations
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, dashboards, reports, and strategic narratives
- Experience within lottery, gaming, government contracting, regulated consumer products, consulting, or another complex or highly regulated industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and manipulation of large datasets
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with ability to translate complex analyses into concise, executive-ready presentations
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of KPI and OKR development, performance measurement, and dashboard reporting
- Experience gathering, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple internal and external sources
- Familiarity with consumer research, segmentation, market sizing, and competitive intelligence methodologies preferred
