About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Make a minimum of 80 outbound calls per day
  • Generate sales for service contracts, billable service, preventive maintenance, and service parts
  • Uncover new sales opportunities through the installed customer base using calls, emails, and Salesforce campaigns
  • Generate, send, and follow up on contract quotes
  • Maintain contract and warranty information in CRM and ERP databases
  • Make scheduled post-sale customer touchpoints
  • Notify customers of expiring maintenance and warranty contracts
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual call and sales goals
  • Recommend service offerings based on customer needs and deliver compelling messages to close sales
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Create and implement sales strategies, ideas, and programs to generate new business
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture and develop mutually beneficial working relationships
  • Assist in mentoring peers and other departments as needed
  • Travel 10% or less as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree highly desired or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of sales experience, exceeding sales goals while providing a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Proven experience being persistent with customers and closing sales deals
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Salesforce experience strongly preferred but not required
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to overcome customer objections and close sales
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage and sustain a healthy pipeline
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with customers
  • Ability to identify potential issues, streamline processes, and drive revenue
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Work authorization documentation showing eligibility to work in the United States
