About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and deliver ALONE’s core services, including Support Coordination, Befriending (Visitation & Telephone), Volunteer Engagement, and Technology Support for older people
  • Drive strategic partnerships with local Statutory, Community, and Voluntary organisations
  • Promote ALONE’s mission and services, build referral pathways, and expand community capacity
  • Ensure excellence in service delivery, meet all HSE agreement objectives, and provide accurate, timely reporting
  • Identify and address service gaps and implement person-centred solutions across sectors
  • Provide reports to funders, stakeholders, and leadership using data to shape future services
  • Inspire high-performing teams through people management, continuous development, and a culture of improvement
  • Deliver ALONE’s strategic goals and align team work with ambitious targets
  • Recruit and engage volunteers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Educated to Degree Level or significant relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience in service operations
  • Minimum 2 years’ staff management experience, including support and performance management of teams
  • Commitment to ALONE’s mission
  • Highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and respect
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative team player able to foster strong internal and external relationships
  • Proactive problem-solving and innovation to improve service delivery and support independent older people
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet KPIs
