About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and surveil all customer activity daily
- Perform daily operational tasks involving trading, new accounts, and cash management
- Execute cryptocurrency trades and handle exceptions, errors, and corrections
- Assist with customer onboarding, including KYC and account approval
- Review general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies
- Support the Anti-Money Laundering Program and related suspicious-activity investigations
- Drive improvements across workflows, policies, and tools
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
- Work remotely with core hours around 9am to 5pm PT; work 8 hours per day and follow US market holidays
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant experience in a broker-dealer, financial services, trading or cryptocurrency operations role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency, or a strong desire to learn
- Ability to work effectively and supportively within a team environment and independently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment
- Startup mindset for a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Familiarity or interest in FinTech, financial markets, cryptocurrencies, and investing applications
