About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Cultivate and maintain understanding of investable topics, themes, and trends in assigned industry verticals
Create research projects based on Sector Lead guidance, ETL platform demand, industry understanding, and research
Define project angles and expert vetting questions
Vet and QA expert profiles sourced by Analysts and provide feedback
Run regular pod huddles to evaluate project status and progress toward goals
Monitor scheduling, compliance, expert rates, and call numbers
Manage pod load-balancing and assign projects based on Analyst capacity
Guide project scope and Analyst sourcing using sector expertise
Incorporate Client Contributor feedback into project work and Analyst coaching
Coach Analysts on project work
Meet with Directors of Research, Sector Leads, and Client Contributors regarding sector trends and client research interests
Partner with Contributor Relations Managers to match expert profiles with call takers
Support hiring and onboarding of new Analysts
Maintain sector knowledge resources for Analyst onboarding and sourcing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Client mindset and ability to understand client-relevant insights
Critical thinking connecting client needs to sector and company context
Research-oriented decision making using quantitative and qualitative inputs
Experience or ability to use AlphaSense and Tableau
Foundational understanding of one or more covered industry verticals, ideally
Exceptional organization and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Self-motivated, proactive track record of delivering results
Ability to improve efficiency and scale Analysts’ work
Coaching and feedback skills
Empathetic collaboration across functions
Ability to understand investable topics, themes, trends, sector dynamics, and client research interests
