About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead AlphaSense’s global external reputation and influence strategy
Strengthen AlphaSense’s leadership in AI
Develop and execute a comprehensive global communications strategy aligned with company OKRs, brand story, and values
Oversee media relations strategy and key agency partners
Advise and support the executive team, including the CEO, on media interviews, speeches, written content, external engagements, and internal communications
Ensure clear, engaging, and consistent internal communications across the organization
Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing communications team
Lead crisis communications efforts to mitigate risk and protect AlphaSense’s reputation
Oversee press releases, blogs, social media posts, and other executive and company content
Establish metrics and report on communications effectiveness
Lead the Media Access Program serving hundreds of influential reporters
Lead analyst relations strategy involving firms such as Gartner and Forrester
Partner with Finance, Legal, and Investor Relations on financial narrative and IPO-readiness communications

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience leading corporate communications during hypergrowth, transformation, or crisis in a senior leadership role
Ideally experience in a technology or SaaS company
Experience developing global external communications strategy
Experience leading a team through an IPO, including media strategy, employee communications, and partnership with investor relations and executive leadership
Ability to distill complex business concepts into clear, compelling narratives and multi-channel communication strategies
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Demonstrated success partnering with C-suite executives on strategic communications
High EQ and ability to communicate across broad audiences and levels
Ability to build and nurture cross-functional relationships
Strong understanding of the financial services industry, enterprise technology, and AI landscape
Relevant AI experience is a plus
