About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, implement, and coordinate community engagement, events, affairs, and outreach
- Coordinate grassroots activities, educational forums, town hall meetings, and health fairs
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure outreach and engagement activities align with project objectives and are delivered promptly
- Increase awareness of AltaMed and its priorities among the community, public, and non-traditional community
- Collaborate directly with community partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School graduate required
- Associate's degrees are highly desirable
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in community affairs or community relations programs and event planning and coordination is highly desired
- A valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required
- Must be eligible to safely operate company vehicles
- No major moving violations within the past 3 years
- No more than one point on current DMV record
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) and experience working with the Latino community are preferred
