About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, evaluate, and implement technical security controls to prevent, detect, contain, and respond to information security threats
Analyze threats using email filtering, anti-malware, access control, phishing detection, CASB/web filtering, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, data loss prevention, and data encryption
Review and guide security configuration of applications and endpoint systems, including servers, desktops, network devices, and IoT/OT devices
Lead projects and project teams within and outside the security department
Maintain an in-depth understanding of current and emerging security threats
Recommend technical and process improvements to protect against security threats
Assist in developing and maintaining information security strategies
Provide support across technology and business units
Ensure security controls align with Information Security policies and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field required
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IT security, including 3 years of experience in a lead role with responsibility for architecture design and implementation
Direct hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity, demonstrating technical proficiency
An active information security credential is required, such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC/SANS, Palo Alto PCNSE, CyberArk CDE, SailPoint Certified Engineer, Microsoft Security Associate, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security/XDR specialist
Master’s degree preferred
