About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and optimize the Lead-to-Opportunity end-to-end flow across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketo, and integrated systems
- Analyze, document, and translate business processes into system behavior for lead routing, lead scoring, campaign attribution, qualification rules, and opportunity creation
- Partner with Demand Generation and Marketing Operations to configure and scale campaign tracking, API integrations, and third-party vendor connections
- Lead discovery sessions with Marketing, BDRs/SDRs, and Sales Leadership
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams
- Identify buyer-journey bottlenecks and design system enhancements to increase velocity and conversion rates
- Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Enterprise Architects, and Systems Engineers on custom objects, flows, validation rules, and integration pipelines
- Oversee UAT, test scenarios, bugs, enhancements, and change control processes
- Manage data integrity in Salesforce and MarTech systems, including deduplication, enrichment, GDPR/CCPA compliance, and taxonomy
- Partner with Analytics teams on pipeline attribution models
- Create documentation, training materials, and release notes for business users
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst with a dedicated focus on Salesforce and MarTech stacks
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, including Lead, Contact, Account, Opportunity, and Campaign objects
- Knowledge of Flow Builder and Process Builder
- Direct experience with enterprise Marketing Automation Platforms such as Marketo, Pardot/Account Engagement, HubSpot, or Eloqua
- Experience with native/API sync mechanics between marketing automation platforms and Salesforce
- Experience designing or managing Lead-to-Opportunity or Lead-to-Cash lifecycles, including MQL/SQL definitions, SLA tracking, and opportunity attribution
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum delivery processes, user story writing, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT execution
- Understanding of APIs/REST integrations, webhooks, cookie tracking, URL parameters (UTMs), and relational database structures
- Experience with Salesforce Reporting and data visualization platforms
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical constraints to business leaders and translate business requests into developer-ready specifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst credentials preferred
- Capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls
