About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow the Airports and Borders business across Latin America and the Caribbean, with a primary focus on Caribbean markets
  • Shape and execute the territory plan
  • Develop new and existing accounts through consultative selling
  • Connect airport and border-authority needs with relevant technology solutions and clear business value
  • Build trusted relationships with senior commercial, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Own complex sales cycles, including tender responses and commercial negotiations
  • Work with solution specialists, product, delivery, and commercial colleagues to develop proposals
  • Support a clear handover from sale to delivery
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline and reliable forecasts
  • Develop existing accounts for assigned small to medium customers
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, identify opportunities, and propose solutions to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Identify requirements and expectations for existing clients
  • Ensure new products, enhancements, and solutions are developed and implemented within agreed timeframes
  • Monitor business costs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 10 years of relevant Airports IT and/or Border Control IT technology or solution-sales experience
  • Track record of developing accounts and closing complex enterprise opportunities
  • Ability to build senior stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to translate customer needs into compelling business value
  • Ability to negotiate commercial agreements across multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Strong territory-planning, opportunity-qualification, and forecasting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across functions
  • Effective communication in English
  • Ability to travel across the region
  • Experience with Caribbean markets and airport or border-authority customers is advantageous
  • Additional languages, Spanish and/or French, are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience (recommended)
