About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a high-performing global hardware deployment team
- Deliver complex deployment projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Manage deployment planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across the portfolio
- Identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and operational risks
- Provide regular status updates and performance reporting to stakeholders
- Support cutover planning, testing, and production deployments
- Own deployment cost estimates and resource forecasts
- Act as the technical expert for hardware deployment solutions and airport systems
- Drive resolution of complex technical and operational challenges
- Conduct feasibility assessments and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Provide customer and on-site support during critical deployment phases
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and deployment standards
- Partner with customers to define requirements and implementation plans
- Collaborate with Product, R&D, and operational teams to improve delivery outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and standardization of deployment processes
- Build stakeholder relationships and mentor teams across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Accredited in Project Management methodologies and Health & Safety
- 10+ years of experience in the Air Transport Industry
- 10+ years of proven people management and senior leadership experience
- Recognized expertise in self-service, electromechanical, and baggage handling hardware solutions
- Strong expertise in Auto Bag Drop, kiosks, biometrics, self-service, and automation
- Solid understanding of the airport ecosystem and airline operational environments
- Knowledge of software development and hardware manufacturing life cycles
- Strong understanding of airline IT systems, competitive products, and business practices (Reservations, Inventory, DCS)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Willingness and availability to travel as required
