About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build foundational platform systems across product infrastructure, PostgreSQL databases, and the GCP environment
- Develop and maintain internal tooling, data platforms, and systems supporting internal AI workflows
- Build shared frameworks, evaluations, loops, harnesses, sandboxes, and interfaces for agentic systems
- Build a mental model of product and company infrastructure, including PostgreSQL, GCP, data systems, developer tooling, and security foundations
- Develop relationships with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders to identify platform friction
- Ship infrastructure improvements to production
- Identify and prioritize platform opportunities based on stakeholder feedback
- Own platform projects from discovery through production rollout
- Plan and execute production database or GCP changes with safe migration, validation, observability, and rollback practices
- Establish feedback loops with internal platform customers
- Expand shared agent infrastructure for internal workflows and customer-facing agentic features
- Drive the platform roadmap based on customer needs and infrastructure standards
- Deliver improvements to database, cloud, data, or developer infrastructure
- Raise infrastructure-change standards through clear design, migration planning, and production ownership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Built and operated production platform or infrastructure systems
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and GCP
- Experience planning and running migrations at scale
- Experience with validation, observability, and rollback strategies
- Platform work that improves the whole codebase, developer experience, or tooling
- Ability to work with engineering and non-engineering teams as platform customers
- Ability to move quickly while maintaining quality and scalability standards
- Experience building interfaces and supporting product surfaces for internal teams
- Security-minded approach to access, data handling, failure modes, and operational risk
- Bonus: infrastructure for agentic systems, including evals, agent loops, harnesses, or sandboxes
- Bonus: application security or infrastructure security experience
- Bonus: financial products or systems experience involving auditability and data integrity
