About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development of novel real-world evidence approaches, including external control arms, causal inference in high-dimensional data, and integration of longitudinal clinical data with molecular/genomic signatures
- Oversee end-to-end retrospective database analyses and architect study protocols
- Serve as a subject matter expert for biopharma clients and advise on first-in-kind study designs
- Contribute to high-impact publications and presentations at ISPOR, ISPE, and ASCO
- Partner with Key Account Directors and Business Development to identify opportunities for novel methodologies
- Bridge Data Science, Biostatistics, and Product teams to productize scalable methods
- Ensure innovative research meets regulatory and ethical standards, including GEP and HIPAA, and deliver high-quality results on schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD (preferred) or PharmD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 7+ years in HEOR/RWE
- At least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Deep expertise in oncology
- Proven track record of developing or implementing advanced methods, such as target trial emulation, propensity score applications in complex cohorts, or machine learning-augmented epidemiology
- Advanced skills in R or SAS
- Experience with real-world data, including EHR, claims, and/or genomic data
- Exceptional ability to simplify complex methodological hurdles into a clear strategic roadmap for biopharma executives
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior scientists and leading cross-functional squads in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
