About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain organization and distribution of project documents, plan sets, and specifications onsite and in Procore
  • Assist with inventory control of instrumentation, valves, and equipment
  • Update material logs and document receipt and inspection of items received onsite
  • Assist onsite Construction Managers with jobsite trailer organization, daily activities, and project/contractor coordination and scheduling
  • Travel between multiple projects as needed to assist on various projects
  • Assist site Construction Managers and Project Managers with QA/QC
  • Enter daily reports and photos in Procore
  • Process RFIs and follow up on timely responses
  • Process construction submittals and follow up on review comments
  • Attend project meetings and create and distribute meeting notes
  • Gather information and prepare change orders for subcontractors and client representatives
  • Assist with maintaining project schedules and communicate with subcontractors
  • Provide project status updates to Managers
  • Issue bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules
  • Analyze proposals and assist with bidder selection
  • Track vendor and subcontractor progress
  • Assist with procurement of city, county, and state permits
  • Assist with budget tracking and planning
  • Foster positive business relationships with project stakeholders
  • Perform other duties necessary on the jobsite

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or an equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years project experience in construction projects, preferably related to energy, renewable natural gas, power generation or the industrial area
  • Advanced computer applications skills, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam
  • Experience developing project schedules utilizing Microsoft Project
  • Ability to work as part of a team and act quickly with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interact and work with multifunctional teams including contractors, engineers, equipment vendors, customers, and regulators
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to effectively work on multiple projects
  • Strong verbal, written, computer, and communication skills
  • Willingness to grow, learn, and develop new skills
  • Valid driver license issued by state of residence and in good standing
  • Procore experience is preferred
