About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive market position and achievement of business outcomes through the Account Management and Commercial Operations Core Process
  • Generate new business and clients while managing and leveraging existing accounts
  • Drive results through individual and collective team sales efforts
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and planning using knowledge of market conditions, locations, countries, market sectors, and/or products
  • Sell ABS services using local affiliates’ business structure
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships and expand business opportunities
  • Prospect for new clients and business opportunities
  • Lead visit-plan development and organize client meetings for ABS senior management
  • Maintain awareness of the ABS service portfolio and promote services/products when appropriate
  • Work with organizational teams to develop capture strategies, proposals, and pricing
  • Collaborate with technical staff and internal teams to meet customer needs
  • Provide strategic insight on future business initiatives, market drivers, and competitor activities
  • Identify marketing campaign opportunities to increase sales
  • Submit reports and accurately manage data in the company CRM
  • Forecast sales targets and track account activity
  • Report directly to the Director of Business Development or senior-level manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university, or equivalent business/quality-related experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in the industry is preferred
  • Business experience in the manufacturing and/or technical service industry
  • Track record of sales leadership
  • Computer proficiency, including preparing presentations and communications and working within ABS QE’s operating platforms
  • Familiarity with management systems is helpful, or ability to learn new areas quickly
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments
  • Excellent communication with customers and the sales team
  • Ability to develop working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, related instructions, and the ABS Employee Safety Policy
  • Regular travel of 50% or more to client sites and project locations
