About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to multiple committees and aligned work groups staffed by the Governance Office
  • Schedule meetings for members and internal staff
  • Prepare, manage, and distribute meeting agendas and materials
  • Capture meeting minutes and action items accurately during fast-paced meetings
  • Coordinate and track deliverables and follow-up items to completion
  • Maintain centralized documentation for the ACC Awards Program
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for administering the Awards Program and individual awards
  • Develop and manage timelines to ensure award milestones are reached
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing colleagues to support application goals
  • Support applications from more than 500 candidates for open member committee and council positions
  • Learn and accurately share policies and processes with staff and applicants
  • Manage awards and committee inboxes and address inquiries efficiently
  • Create or update work groups and members in Salesforce
  • Develop and export reports from the committee application portal and/or Salesforce
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a role requiring aligned knowledge and skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with members and internal colleagues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including grammar, spelling, copyediting, and proofreading
  • Ability to organize work, maintain attention to detail, and deliver accurate work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to learning and seeking support
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize under tight timelines while maintaining composure and a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow through on assignments and duties in a timely and complete manner
  • Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated and flexible
  • Ability and requirement to keep information and discussions confidential
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new software and technologies
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or a comparable CRM, including developing and exporting reports
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience coordinating application, nomination, or awards processes
  • Willingness and ability to periodically work outside standard work hours
  • Minimal travel may be required, such as attending the Annual Meeting
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or membership association preferred
