About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high-quality customer sales and service to members and customers
  • Process payments and manage and reconcile batch processes within processing timelines
  • Maintain expert knowledge of ACC products, promotions, programs, and activities
  • Provide customer service, identify and resolve issues, and handle multiple transaction types
  • Manage CME credit statement entry for doctors reviewing JACC journal articles
  • Maintain an FAQ list for Member Care and Data Integrity staff
  • Analyze daily transactions, correct records, and adjust errors
  • Respond to member and customer requests by telephone or email within established timeframes
  • Participate in training new Member Care employees
  • Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally and tactfully
  • Prepare monthly activity reports by the 25th of each month
  • Coordinate preparation and shipment of materials for live programs
  • Navigate customers and members through acc.org as needed
  • Assist with researching and adopting technology to improve member service
  • Support Data Integrity with member profile updates, database maintenance, and data management projects
  • Collaborate with Member Services on process improvements and enhancements
  • Produce, test, and publish knowledge-base articles, customer surveys, and FAQs
  • Maintain the contacts database and ensure dashboards work correctly
  • Conduct information and content reviews and audits for accuracy and quality
  • Communicate knowledge-base changes to ACC staff
  • Develop and maintain an interactive knowledge base and self-service content
  • Develop and maintain Member Care email and chat templates
  • Assist with process automation rules and communicate process changes
  • Adhere to ACC and Member Services accountabilities
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2+ years related work in call center, membership, or similar service unit
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including advanced Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent English oral, written, and comprehension abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a database, updating and tracking member information and supporting data maintenance
  • Ability and willingness to contribute ideas for process improvements and customer service enhancements
  • Strong track record of reliability, dependability, and punctuality
  • Great attention to detail and ability to follow documented instructions
  • Proficient mathematically and in preparing statistical reports
  • Excellent time management
  • Polished, professional presentation and pleasant demeanor
