About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support account management for the Accreditation and NCDR portfolio of registries and quality programs
  • Provide excellent customer service through clear, concise, and consistent written and verbal communication
  • Support customer onboarding, annual renewals, inquiry resolution, product/program contracts, amendments, and payment processing
  • Follow payment processes, including invoicing and coding payments for the ACC Finance Department
  • Follow contract processes and guide customers about products, contracts, and amendments
  • Use Accreditation/NCDR Salesforce, ACC Salesforce, and NCDR.com for customer onboarding, maintenance, and termination
  • Monitor, clean, and maintain customer and opportunity data across systems
  • Contribute to innovation and a psychologically safe, collaborative team culture
  • Support digital storage of master agreements, amendments, and data release consent forms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of relevant account management experience with a high school diploma, or 2+ years of relevant account management experience with a bachelor's degree
  • Proven client service orientation and ability to resolve questions and complaints
  • Account management experience involving contracting, billing and/or collections
  • Strong organization, flexibility, and timely follow-through
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with representatives across functional areas and levels
  • Strong, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfort with computer-based applications and video conferencing tools
  • Ability to travel to an annual off-site meeting for one week per year, if required
  • Contract negotiation skills, legal-term familiarity, and commercial and/or government contract experience preferred
  • CRM technology experience preferred
  • Desire and ability to learn Salesforce, including SuperBadges or Certifications, preferred
  • Project management software experience, such as Monday.com, preferred
  • Exposure to project management principles, Agile SCRUM processes, and/or process improvement methodologies preferred
  • HIPAA familiarity preferred
