About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive hotel growth through strategic commercial and client engagement
  • Identify and close opportunities supporting hotel growth goals
  • Serve as an unbiased voice in client conversations and articulate the hotel value proposition
  • Support strategic client meetings, RFPs, best-and-finals, and renewals
  • Analyse priority customer growth opportunities and direct commercial efforts
  • Advocate for hotel-related tools, services, and third-party content partners
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel trends and customer needs
  • Communicate technical capabilities to internal teams and clients
  • Manage and develop relationships with key collaborator groups
  • Hold collaborators accountable to minimize client disruption
  • Provide feedback to product, marketing, and other teams on commercial and customer needs
  • Identify opportunities for product and service enhancements
  • Help commercial teams and clients understand third-party content partnerships
  • Analyse data and savings metrics and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with third parties on commercial opportunities
  • Provide feedback to Commercial teams and Hotel Ambassadors to support volume growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years' experience in Client Management, Sales, Consulting, or other commercial roles
  • Interest in, or direct experience in hotel sales or consultancy
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate technical product capabilities alongside commercial value propositions
  • Proven track record of creating simplicity from complexity
  • Strong commercial/sales attitude with ability to identify and close opportunities
  • Ability to articulate the GBT value proposition to internal teams, clients, and prospects
  • Unbiased perspective and credibility to serve as a trusted advisor
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Knowledge of common sales methodologies, such as Value Based Selling, Solution Selling, Fanatical Prospecting, and Challenger
  • Experience supporting a formal sales process and related tools, such as CRM, CMS, and enablement platforms
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence Senior Leaders and Business Partners
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, with competence in developing needs analyses
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies
  • Business Travel industry experience preferred, but not essential
