About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all elements of end-to-end event management, including planning, logistics, financial management, and delivery
  • Manage the process from initial venue proposal to post-project financial reconciliation
  • Manage national and/or international projects end to end
  • Negotiate financial and contractual matters with suppliers
  • Communicate with meeting owners
  • Lead project teams
  • Manage the event database, including planning and registration
  • Maintain accurate and timely data
  • Coordinate event logistics
  • Maximize revenue per event and understand overall contribution to revenue and P&L
  • Reconcile event budgets
  • Apply company product knowledge and cross-sell products where possible
  • Analyze meeting data to inform future event delivery
  • Prepare financial and data reporting per event and client
  • Perform additional duties as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Convention Centre experience desirable
  • Event agency experience desirable
  • Fluent Business English
  • Additional languages are a benefit
  • Customer care excellence
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in event management
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Used to working under pressure
  • High level of attention to detail
