About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers, including individuals and groups
  • Arrange and book domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail, and accommodations
  • Use Global Distribution Systems including Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo
  • Communicate with customers by telephone, messaging/chat, email, and/or back-office systems
  • Provide proactive travel advice and sell additional services while adhering to company travel policies
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet business and account-specific goals, including customer satisfaction, call adherence, and service metrics
  • Provide high-touch travel service for top Amex GBT clients from a home-based work environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in travel, preferably business travel
  • Understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel
  • Native GDS expertise with Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to act with integrity and protect personal traveler information
  • Strong understanding of the travel industry, including business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation backgrounds
  • Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently
  • Teamwork and openness to feedback
  • Flexibility to work afternoon shifts (12–8pm) and weekends
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 Traveler Care operation
