About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers, both individuals and groups
- Conduct analysis and research on travel options
- Proactively anticipate traveler needs and sell additional services
- Arrange and book domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations
- Use GDS systems, including Sabre
- Ensure compliance with customer travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
- Use positive telephone service techniques
- Act on special customer requests
- Collaborate with the team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native GDS expertise, including Sabre
- Keen international travel knowledge
- Phone and email servicing experience
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Act with integrity and protect personal traveler information
- Strong understanding of the travel industry, including business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation background
- Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently or with suppliers
- Teamwork and openness to feedback
- Flexibility and preparedness to work afternoon shifts between 8am and 8pm EST
- Ability to work in a 24/7 Traveler Care operation
