About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement automations for different operational processes across US SME channels
- Foster partnerships with SME Sales and AD organization, Oneforce Capabilities, Tech, Control Management, and CEG
- Apply Python, SQL, and Hive for data manipulation and statistical modeling/data-mining techniques
- Analyze, deep dive, and explore to identify process gaps and solve problems collaboratively across teams
- Execute development, validation, and implementation of automated operational solutions with minimal to no manual intervention
- Oversee and guide contractors and apprentices to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient execution of daily BAU operational tasks
- Challenge the status quo, innovate, and identify opportunities to improve processes by evaluating existing approaches
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Engineering)
- High proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong working knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., Hive, PySpark, scikit-learn etc.)
- Programming: SQL, SAS, Python/R, Unix scripting, Excel/VBA
- Experience in Big Data environment, inclusive of data mining techniques
- Experience applying advanced statistical and/or quantitative techniques to solve business problems
- Hands-on analytics and machine learning (ML) experience with understanding of data processing and model validation
- Ability to address performance issues and manipulate both structured and unstructured data
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel pivot, macros, deck-writing)
- Ability to cultivate relationships and partner with multiple collaborators, with superb interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deliver results, work independently, and prioritize tasks
- Self-starter who thrives in an evolving, dynamic environment
- Preferred: proficiency in CRM tools, Salesforce, or statistical software programs
- Preferred: GCS + USSME business knowledge
- Preferred: big data platforms (Hadoop, SPARK, NoSQL DB, RDBMS)
- Preferred: cloud products and services such as Google Cloud
- Preferred: visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate, Splunk
- Preferred: servicing platforms such as ServiceNow
- Preferred: Confluence, SharePoint, or other workflow and content management tools
