About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and lead Prospect’s content-led acquisition strategy, identifying customer needs, topics and opportunities where content can most meaningfully influence discovery and acquisition.
- Build the next generation of content capabilities, applying AI and emerging technologies to transform how content is identified, created, optimized, distributed and maintained at scale.
- Develop a connected content ecosystem across first and third party channels, partnering across channel teams to strengthen authority, extend reach and create more integrated customer journeys.
- Identify and incubate emerging acquisition opportunities, translating changes in consumer behavior into focused pilots, learning agendas and clear recommendations to scale, evolve or stop.
- Lead key external partnerships and capability evaluations, translating new platform and vendor capabilities into meaningful marketing use cases.
- Lead and develop a Senior Marketing Manager, providing strategic leadership and team direction.
- Partner with analytics to evolve measurement, connecting AI indicators to business outcomes.
- Partner closely with critical internal and external partners to ensure work is connected.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A commercially minded marketing leader with a strong track record of translating customer needs and market shifts into strategies that drive measurable business growth.
- Experience in content, digital growth, acquisition or adjacent disciplines, with a clear understanding of how content influences customer decision-making across first and third party environments.
- Demonstrated experience building or transforming marketing capabilities using AI, automation or emerging technology, moving beyond experimentation to proven business outcomes.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, making clear strategic choices where established playbooks do not yet exist.
- A strong cross functional leader who can influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, establish shared priorities and mobilize teams across complex organizations.
- A strong people leader and communicator who can move seamlessly between long-term vision, practical execution and executive-level decision making.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
