About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead identification, prioritization, development, and implementation of analytics strengthening the Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance program
- Shape the analytics strategy and design and develop high-value analytical solutions
- Identify and prioritize regulatory reporting risk and control areas where analytics can enhance QA effectiveness and testing coverage
- Translate strategic priorities, business risks, controls, and data into an analytics roadmap and actionable requirements
- Lead complex analytics design and development while providing technical guidance and oversight to team members
- Deliver forward-looking insights enabling proactive, risk-based quality assurance
- Establish analytics best practices, development standards, documentation, and governance
- Evaluate analytics effectiveness and business impact; improve testing efficiency, automate manual activities, and strengthen QA outcomes
- Assess and incorporate emerging technologies, advanced analytics techniques, and GenAI capabilities
- Partner with regulatory reporting, technology, data governance, service management, and other stakeholders
- Lead, coach, and develop team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, audit, risk management, technology, and/or data analytics within financial services
- Experience applying data analytics to support quality assurance, audit, risk management, and/or financial services
- Hands-on experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Ability to translate business objectives, risks, controls, and processes into analytical requirements and actionable insights
- Experience partnering with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating analytical findings and complex quantitative information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or other relevant field (e.g., Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems)
- Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services
- Preferred: 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing analytics
- Preferred: Experience with SQL, Python, or similar programming and data querying languages
- Preferred: Experience developing scalable analytics, dashboards, automated reporting, and/or continuous monitoring solutions
- Preferred: Familiarity with GenAI and its application to data analytics, quality assurance, and risk management
- Preferred: Experience leading analytics initiatives or cross-functional projects
- Preferred: Advanced degree
- Preferred: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CAP, or analytics/technology-focused equivalents)
