About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end execution of regulatory reporting automation initiatives, from feature definition through implementation and production readiness
- Own the product backlog and delivery roadmap, translating complex business and regulatory requirements into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Drive solution design with Technology, Data Architecture, and Report Owners
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on regulatory commitments, business value, dependencies, risks, and program objectives
- Coordinate technology, data architecture, testing, and Finance teams to resolve cross-functional dependencies
- Monitor milestones and deliverables, identify risks, issues, and blockers, and drive resolution
- Support the testing lifecycle, including UAT validation and defect resolution
- Engage business and technical stakeholders throughout delivery, incorporating feedback and clarifying requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and automation to reduce manual processes, strengthen controls, and improve regulatory reporting efficiency and scalability
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, finance, data, or technology-enabled transformation within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of liquidity regulatory reporting, particularly FR 2052a, including underlying data requirements, reporting processes, and associated controls
- Demonstrated experience supporting regulatory reporting transformation, data modernization, or automation initiatives
- Experience operating as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery-focused role within Agile and/or SAFe environments
- Proven ability to translate complex business, regulatory, and data requirements into actionable features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
- Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams in a delivery-focused role
- Exposure to additional US regulatory reports (Basel, FFIEC 009, Y15, etc.)
- SQL or data analysis experience
- Exposure to AI capabilities in data processing, anomaly detection, or automation of workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Delivery mindset with focus on execution and outcomes
