Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the U.S. Consumer Proactive Line Increase function
Develop and deploy credit line strategies across the U.S. Consumer Card portfolio, leveraging modeled income to enhance routing criteria and decisioning
Enhance economic logic, optimization framework, and business rules to maximize returns
Devise strategies to drive efficient card lending growth while managing contingent liability and long-term volatility
Transform line management programs through next-generation capabilities and process enhancements
Gain share of premium lending and provide outstanding customer experience and engagement
Drive operational excellence and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
Work with business partners in Product, Marketing, Decision Sciences, Capabilities, Risk, and Banking
Report to the Director, Line Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree
Strong risk management expertise with proven track record of driving winning strategies in collaboration with a diverse set of business partners
Demonstrated ability to drive transformation in complex, and matured processes
Proficiency in conducting/leading heavily analytical projects
Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple business priorities
Ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively and lead through influence
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances with a will to win
Experience with Amex risk systems and infrastructure is a big plus
Working knowledge of SAS & SQL preferred
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
