Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable automated testing frameworks
Design and implement frontend and backend test automation solutions
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback
Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve automation efficiency, software quality, productivity, and innovation
Execute, monitor, and analyse automated test results
Provide status reports, actionable insights, and timely defect reporting to stakeholders
Ensure adherence to software quality, security, performance, and test automation standards
Evaluate and implement innovative testing strategies, tools, and frameworks
Collaborate with development and product teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects throughout the SDLC
Stay current with emerging technologies, automation frameworks, and AI-driven testing practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation
Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for frontend and backend applications
Hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered developer and testing assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or similar
Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, WebDriverIO, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG, Cypress, or similar
Good programming skills in Java/Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL or similar technologies
Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Karate, Postman, or equivalent tools
Understanding of CI/CD practices and experience integrating automated tests with GitHub Actions or similar platforms
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC
Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, security, and performance testing
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the UK is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
