About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with day-to-day activities supporting compliance with enterprise policies and programs for specific risk types
- Compile topical risk information, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates
- Compile materials and disseminate targeted training and awareness programs on specific risk topics within US Consumer Services
- Support senior team members in consulting on the design and implementation of controls tailored to specialized risk areas
- Research and gather topical risk knowledge to share with business-unit process owners
- Gather topical risk strategies and procedures to align with changes in the business environment and regulatory landscape
- Gather operational risk insights, better practices, and themes across the enterprise
- Collaborate extensively with partners across business units, functional areas, and geographies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field or certifications are advantageous
- 2+ years of experience in operational risk management, Conduct Risk Management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function)
- Understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
- Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively
- Experience assisting in day-to-day activities to support compliance with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types
- Experience supporting the design/enhancement of procedures/standards by providing topic-specific insight
- Experience supporting advice on decentralized risk types into broader operational risk policies and programs
