About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in day-to-day activities supporting compliance with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types
  • Compile topical risk information, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates
  • Compile materials and disseminate targeted training and awareness programs for specific risk topics within US Consumer Services
  • Support senior team members in consulting on the design and implementation of controls tailored to specialized risk areas
  • Research and gather topical risk knowledge to share with business-unit process owners
  • Gather topical risk strategies and procedures to align with changes in the business environment and regulatory landscape
  • Gather relevant operational risk insights, better practices, and themes across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with partners across business units, functional areas, and geographies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field or certifications are advantageous
  • 2+ years of experience in operational risk management, Financial Crimes Compliance (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
  • Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively
  • Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience assisting with compliance with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types
  • Experience supporting design/enhancement of procedures/standards by providing topic-specific insight
  • Experience supporting advising on decentralized risk types into broader operational risk policies and programs
