About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development and execution of product initiatives within Agentic Commerce Solutions
Assist in translating product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and documentation
Partner with Technology teams to clarify requirements, support development, and track progress against milestones
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Risk, Strategy, GTM, and Architecture to support delivery of product capabilities
Support the design and development of Agentic Commerce features such as tokenization, identity, and intent capture through research and documentation
Assist in managing timelines, dependencies, and risks across assigned tasks or components
Contribute to product documentation, including specifications, process flows, and integration materials
Support testing activities, including validation of requirements and coordination of feedback
Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments in agentic and digital commerce
Support internal communications and preparation of materials for stakeholder updates

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in product management, payments, consulting, or related roles
Foundational understanding of payments, APIs, or digital platforms
Experience supporting product development, business analysis, or technical projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly document requirements and insights
Exposure to payments ecosystems, tokenization, or digital commerce platforms
Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Interest in emerging technologies such as AI-driven commerce or digital identity
Experience supporting technical or product teams in a delivery environment
Early-career product professional building foundational product management and execution skills; curious, detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
