About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead operational excellence and oversight activities across Amex Offers, focusing on Sales and business conduct
Own and evolve business conduct monitoring and reporting, including merchant and colleague monitoring
Identify and escalate trends or areas of concern and develop insights to strengthen oversight
Serve as a subject matter expert for Sales processes, capabilities, and third-party dependencies
Own and support operational risk and compliance activities, including RCSA, control development and management, control testing, business continuity, and regulatory, audit, and exam readiness
Support business and strategic priorities through change management and enablement
Design and implement processes, training, documentation, and other capabilities
Provide centralized oversight of third-party management activities and governance
Provide strategic oversight and consultation on Sales training and enablement
Lead, coach, and develop a B30 Analyst

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree
Strong understanding of marketing principles, process, and best practices
Experience in marketing operations, process improvement, or project management
Experience with internal compliance and operational risk management frameworks, including Process Risk Self-Assessments, Risk Control Self-Assessments, and Operational Risk Events
Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Proven ability to drive change and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
