About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Distill product requirements into tangible engineering tasks
Produce high-quality, documented, and tested code
Help shape engineering culture through ideas, tools, and infrastructure
Explore new technologies in the restaurant and hospitality industry
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to establish and drive product vision
Build iOS applications
Use dependency management and build tools including xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, and Tuist
Find and fix bugs proactively
Perform performance analysis and optimization
Apply unit, integration, and UI testing appropriately
Design solutions for open-ended problems
Collaborate with designers and product managers to achieve intuitive UX, pixel-perfect UI, and polished animations
Review pull requests, answer teammates’ questions, and unblock colleagues
Facilitate brainstorming and exchange of perspectives
Monitor broader team and organizational engineering work
Track the roadmap and understand company and product vision

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of software development experience
4+ years of iOS development experience
Preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
Experience with Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, SwiftUI, MVVM, REST APIs, XCTest/XCUITest, SwiftLint, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, Realm, Combine, PromiseKit, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TestFlight, Firebase, Postman, Figma, Jira, and Confluence
Familiarity with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Tuist, AWS, Python, MySQL, GraphQL, React, Redux, Webpack, and Captcha may be useful but is not required
Successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations
